1998 – 2006 Early Period
Company founded by Mr. Boris Pankov, who invented and implemented an innovative method of fuel measurement. By 2004 the company developed a fuel sensor with at least 99% accuracy, which was a major breakthrough on telematics market
2007 – 2013 European and Global Expansion
In 2007 Vepamon company (later renamed) opened in Estonia as the European operational and distribution hub, enabling entry into EU markets with certified fuel monitoring solutions (LLS sensors). In 2012 – new telematics platform established, allowing global partners to develop customized fleet management applications. Partner network expanded to 75 countries.
2013 – 2015 Americas Market Entry
In 2013 necessary certificates obtained for core products, enabling large-scale entry into the competitive U.S. and Canadian markets with a focus on construction/logistics sectors . In 2015 Mexico partnership secured as the first Central American hub to address high regional demand for fuel theft prevention systems, supporting 40+ regional partners.
2016 – 2020 Global Scaling & Technology Diversification
Up to 20 % of total revenue invested into R&D, expanding labs in EU and launching new hardware (terminals) and video analytics. A large global integrator network built across the globe, which included strategic partnerships with big logistics and oil/gas conglomerates .
2021 – 2022 Global change
Since 2021 Founder Mr. Boris Pankov and his new management team focused on development of international business and left Russia. In 2022 he handed over all remaining Russian assets to the local management team (transfer deal closed in 2023 eventually).
2023 – 2025 New challenges
In 2023 Vietnamese production site launched, securing supplies to all Omnicomm subsidiaries and its partners around the globe. The Group of companies shows secure turnover and profit growth, supporting hundreds of thousands vehicles worldwide and competing for leadership on European and world telematics market.
