As part of the exhibition, Omnicomm and its Bulgarian partner, CAST Engineering, had a joint meeting with representatives of Rewico TS (Bulgaria), Soltau Logistic Center (Germany), and REWICO Beteiligungsges GmbH (Germany). The parties reached a deal under which 50 new DAF and IVECO trucks will be equipped with Omnicomm LLS fuel level sensors directly on the assembly line. As part of the meeting, the Omnicomm team also held over 200 contact meetings with representatives of companies based in the US, Portugal, India, Turkey, France, Spain, and many other countries.
Omnicomm has extensive experience installing its products at assembly lines of major European and Russian automotive companies, such as TATRA, BELAZ, and others. There is a high demand for the Omnicomm vehicle tracking and fuel consumption monitoring system in such countries as Argentina, Brazil, Vietnam, Bulgaria, Turkey, Chile, the Czech Republic, South African Republic, and elsewhere.
"This year we interfaced actively with our potential clients, and many partners confirmed our certainty that there is a demand for our fuel consumption monitoring systems in Sweden, Denmark, and even Germany", says Stanislav Maksimov, Director of Sales at OU VEPAMON (Omnicomm's representative in Estonia), adding: "We have established very promising contacts that we will keep building on in the future. We have resolved many operational issues in private communication with our partners. While there are many opinions on the role of this exhibition, the fact that it gives a powerful impetus to the telematic solutions market is indisputable".
